Please read this. It is short, and it is the rule for everyone in the room.

1. This material is licensed to you by name. Your access is personal. It is not a site licence, a department licence or a hospital licence. It is not transferable and cannot be passed on.

2. Do not record. No audio recording, no video recording, no screen recording, no screenshots, no screen capture, no photographs of the screen or of a printed page. This applies to live sessions and to recorded modules equally, and it applies to a part as much as to the whole.

3. Do not circulate. Do not forward, post, upload or share the material, or any part of it, in a messaging group, on social media, in a shared drive or folder, on a hospital intranet, in a study group, or on any other platform. Do not share your login or any access link, with anyone, including a colleague or a member of your staff.

4. Do not resell or re teach. Do not sell the material, licence it, or use it to run a course, workshop, talk or training of your own, paid or unpaid.

5. Copies are marked. Material issued to you may carry a marking unique to you, visible or not, in the page, the document or the video stream. If a copy is leaked, that marking is capable of identifying the account it came from. We say this so that nobody is taken by surprise, not to threaten anyone. Part B, the Data and Privacy Notice, explains what data the marking uses.

6. Copyright is ours, and it exists already. Copyright subsists in original work from the moment it is created and recorded. It does not depend on registration, and it does not depend on a notice or a symbol appearing on the page. The absence of a mark on any page does not mean that page is free to copy.

7. What you may do. Read it, watch it, think about it, take your own notes, print or save anything we expressly provide for download, and apply what you learn in your own practice. Where a template or checklist says on its face that you may adapt it for your own practice, do so, for your own practice.

8. What happens if this is breached. Access is suspended, usually at once. We tell you what we say happened and give you a fair chance to answer. If a breach is established, access ends, any certificate may be withdrawn and marked as withdrawn on the verification page, no refund arises for that course, and we may pursue the remedies the law gives an owner of copyright, which include an injunction, damages or an account of profits, and delivery up. Where the breach is serious we may also report it.

9. If you see a copy where it should not be, including one you did not put there, please tell us at doctorlawyerofficial@gmail.com. Telling us promptly about something you did yourself will always count in your favour.
