The price of every seat is set by the size of the whole order, up to 500 seats on one order.

How team prices work

1 to 4 seats Rs. 299 each, 5 to 9 seats Rs. 260 each, 10 to 24 seats Rs. 240 each, 25 to 49 seats Rs. 220 each, 50 or more seats Rs. 199 each. The price of every seat on an order is set by the size of the whole order. Fewer than 5 seats are Rs. 299 each, the same as one person enrolling alone.

One payment, by card, UPI or bank transfer against an invoice. No renewal and nothing charged later. Every seat carries twelve months of access, counted from the day the order is activated.

No GST is charged: the practice is below the threshold in section 22(1) of the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017.

Clause 29 of the Terms of Enrolment governs seats bought by an institution, and every figure is on the pricing page.

For the supervising doctor or administrator

Real-life situations. Every lesson is built around a real-life situation that front desk, nursing, ward and OT staff face in clinics and hospitals. The names in the stories are illustrative.

Certificates you can check. The supervising doctor or administrator can check each staff member's certificate online: every certificate carries a number that anyone can check at doctorlawyeracademy.com/verify.

What the buyer of the seats sees. The person who bought the seats sees who has completed: who has claimed a seat, how many lessons each person has passed, and whether their certificate has issued. Scores and answers stay private to the learner.

What you will be able to do when you have finished

Not what you will have heard about. What you will be able to do, on a Tuesday, with the thing in your hand.

Write and correct an entry in any register or chart so that it holds up, and know why whitener and rewritten pages look like hiding.
Know where your job ends on consent: the doctor explains, you witness, and questions go to the doctor.
Keep patient information private, including photos and WhatsApp, and know who may be told what.
Protect a patient's dignity every day, and know that a patient or a body is never held back over a bill.
Handle the first hour of an emergency or a police case in the right order: treat first, then write, then tell the in-charge.
Report a fall or a mistake the right way, and calm an angry family while keeping yourself safe.

How much of your time this takes

About two hours in total, in short sittings on your phone. The course remembers where you are.

How the course runs, start to certificate

Eight short written lessons. About ten minutes each, read in any order, at your own pace, on a phone or a laptop. Everything is in plain words, and the law behind each lesson is set out at the end for your supervisor. Each lesson also leaves you something to keep: a one-page rules sheet for each lesson, to print and keep at the desk or on the ward.

A scored quiz at the end of each module. Five applied questions, not definitions: a situation, and what you would do. Four out of five to pass. Retake it as often as you like, and the authority is explained on every answer, right and wrong. Your best score is the one kept.

A final quiz across all eight modules. It opens once you have passed all eight module quizzes. Sixteen questions, two drawn from each module, twelve out of sixteen to pass. Your sixteen are not the same as anybody else’s. Retake it as often as you need.

A certificate of completion, issued once the eight module quizzes and the final quiz are all passed. It is signed by Dr. Rupal V. Rana, MBBS, DCH, LLB, LLM, and carries a number anyone you show it to can check on this site. It is a certificate of completion: not a diploma, not a certification, not recognised by any Nursing Council, Medical Council, university or skill council, and it carries no continuing education credit. It does not promise a job, a promotion or a pay rise.

The bonus lesson is included and costs nothing extra. Casualty, the first hour, step by step: what happens first, second and third when an emergency or a police case arrives. It sits outside the eight: it is not in the final quiz and it is not needed for the certificate. It has its own quiz for anyone who wants one.
